This hotel was located in a very central area just off Boston for a job interview, restaurants, bars, shops, the start of the Freedom Trail, Fenway and more and the Boston Commons, downtown. The atmosphere created was wonderful. The breakfast was free and delicious, with a wide range of meals.

The place was cool and quiet and the staff were COURTEOUS, the location was fantastic right in the Theater district. Location: the hotel was close to the Freedom Trail, a recent visit Boston to see friends and the theaters nearby. Cafe Panera Bread was located 5 minutes walk away.

Comfortable, new style, hip, relaxed.
A noise that kept going on and off at night while I was sleeping in my room. A fast pas tic, tic that I could not find and turn off. It started and stopped on its own.

It was actually really quiet, people were really friendly and the service was great. The room was fun. This is more for young couples or people traveling alone...you dont really run into kids. Security was great too
With the prices that they charge, it is hard to understand that they charge extra for the internet.

The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is a "design" style. It is well located, near the Common Park but the most important thing we noticed is the kindeness of the entire staff that gave us great affort when needed.

The hotel provided a modern and cute atmosphere with really good service. The rooms were clean, quiet, and designed efficiently for business use, with ample lighting for work tasks. The bar offered a great selection at reasonable prices, and the staff were always available to assist with any needs that arose. Conveniently located, it allowed for easy access to local attractions and dining.
Limited working space in the room.

A fun getaway with my friends! We loved seeing Fenway Park and the New England Aquarium. The vibe here is electric, and the stylish rooms were perfect for our group. The staff was super helpful. Don't miss out on the awesome monthly events-they're a blast!
Unfortunately, we didn't get to fully explore the area due to our early departure, a bit disappointing. I wish we had more time to enjoy the local dining options.

There was no wall between bathroom and bedroom. No privacy at all in the hotel room. Not meant for young adults even though the hotel comes off as a young and hip demographic. When I got back to my room with my other guest at 2am, I went right in bed without a sound. 3 minutes after walking in my room there was a security guard knocking at my door telling me that I received a complaint. But that just could not have been possible. I asked him to come in to see lights off with nobody in my room but he declined. I woke up the next morning with a $200 fine on my room. I was disgusted and appalled that such a nice, upscale hotel would try to scheme their guests out of money like that. Its almost like they are out to get you. Also, there should be free wifi. The Marriot Residence Inn down the street has free wifi. My friend lives in the residence side of the W Boston but I certainly will stay in The Revere next time I visit.

The location offered quick access to parks, the metro, and nearby dining options like Dunkin' Donuts. The staff provided helpful service and assisted with our requests, including loan umbrellas. Noise from the bar area was noticeable at times, and more seating in common areas would have been appreciated. While mostly satisfying, some rooms could benefit from additional workspace for business travelers.

The bathrooms were set up differently, not a lot of privacy.

Notes about the W hotel: What stands out as special or distinguishing in my mind? Why is it such a different sort of hotel, and what is it trying to achieve in a subtle way? -Entrance is tall, tall ceilings, yet narrower passages; some sort of modernized look right away, with angles that are different; lobby that is anti-lobby; more lke a club, with a bar, a desk, simplified. -Carpets with Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening -Cards that privtaize floor access -Names that are specialized, not generic: Sweat (for Gym); Talent (for Staff), etc. -CD in room; minibar design; step (word on towel); see through-yet-opaque sceen between bathroom to main room-- creates a certain open flow sense -Big windows, yet not overly big room -Plush dark carpet; dark shower, modern glass, clean white comforter, plain yet soft materials, colors in muted blue, grey/purple, calming colors, yet not overwhelming-- no busy patterns -light wood as a natural compliment, not dark -Bliss products-- a certain pampering while powerful (different than pampering and dis-empowering, which can also be an effect of some other hotels that are overly-luxurious...) -Everything seems to fit an overall intention... interesting concept -Flatscreen, cables and connectivity, iPOD docking station, efficient multi-function alarm, etc. -Little "fun" nuances: Wish kaleidoscope toy, cube; little amenities that surprise and delight- even the text about trees on the wall screen-- small novelties that add flavor without clutter
I would have liked slippers in the hotel room... everything else was pretty ideal!
